Every student and employee at CMU has access to cloud-based storage through OneDrive for Business. OneDrive can be access through any web browser from any computer or through a sync client that can be used to automatically sync a location on your computer—much like many people are accustomed to doing already through Dropbox or Google Drive. If you're looking for an easy way to collaborate with your peers and colleagues, OneDrive is probably a great fit for you.


Network connectivity assistance is provided to on-campus residents at no charge.

Resource mailboxes are specially tailored for rooms and equipment


CMU utilizes Microsoft Office 365 for Alumni email and calendaring


Exception or vendor accounts can be created upon request to be used by external-to-CMU users when normal guest accounts will not suffice.


A Guest Account can be assigned to short term visitors, conference attendees, collaborators, and colleagues at other institutions who visit CMU and require temporary access to technology resources.

Request to create merged course shells in Blackboard Learn


CoursePro service is available to support faculty developing or revising online courses with Bb-specific production tasks. CoursePro can also assist faculty with select Bb-specific functions in their teaching shells.


Report new hires, separations, and existing employees that are changing positions to the Office of Information Technology with as much advanced notice as possible, to ensure appropriate access is adjusted, computers are transitioned/provisioned and important University data is not lost.
