General Information
The Makerbot Innovation Center at Central Michigan University is a 3D printing service funded by a joint effort undertaken by the Office of the Provost, College of the Arts and Media and the College of Education and Human Services.
The Innovation Center uses Makerbot 5th Gen Replicators and Makerbot Z18s printers to print PLA plastic objects. The 5th Gen Replicators can print up to a 9.9" wide x 7.8" deep x 5.9" tall. The Z18 printers can print up to a 11.8" wide x 12" deep x 18" tall.
We only accept .stl files. If you are an advanced user you may request the settings you would prefer.
Eligibility
All current students, faculty, and staff.
Cost
15ยข a gram, billed to your CMU account. Printing costs will be sent to you for approval before printing begins.
