Duo Security MFA: Self-Service Options

 Important note about multi-factor authentication self-service options 
The ability to use mult-factor authentication (MFA) self-service options requires a security question and answer have already been configured for your Global ID account for identity verification purposes. Overview

Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA) self-service options are available at https://myaccount.cmich.edu/multifactor

After verifying your identity and answering your Global ID account security question, you have options to:

  • Verify your device activation status
  • Add a new device to your account
  • Reactivate MFA on a new device with the same number (like a new phone)
  • Send instructions to your device via SMS text with MFA app installation instructions
  • Remove devices associated with your account
