Gradebook Organization
The order of items in the Gradebook can be adjusted by moving items to match the order on the Course Content page, by the order you want students to complete the work, or according to due date. When the instructor rearranges items in the Gradebook, that view appears also to students. Each user can sort the Gradebook according to the title of the item, Grading Category, Due Dates, Grading Status, or Posted Grades. When users sort the Gradebook by these columns, this applies to their view only.
Rearranging Gradebook Items
From the Gradable Items tab, hover over the item you want to move until the Move icon (up and down arrows) appears next to the ellipsis (...).

Press the Move icon of the item that you want to move and then drag the item to the new location and release it.
The order of the items on the Gradable Items tab also appears in the Grades tab, each Student's Overview Page, and the student's view of the Gradebook
