General Information
CMU strives to meet Level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. Both the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 508 and Section 504) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 prohibit publicly funded institutions from discriminating against students, faculty, and staff with disabilities. More importantly, web accessibility is the right thing to do: people with disabilities are attempting to access web content and they have a right to participate fully in our online community.
