Accessing Course Rubrics

Rubrics added to a course shell may require clean up or adjusting as the course is taught.  To access the rubrics, go to the Gradebook > Settings gear icon:

Editing a Rubric

Instructors can edit any rubric not yet used for grading.  To Edit a rubric already created within the course, click on the title of the rubric.  On the next screen, various fields and titles are all editable -- simply click on the pencil icon that appears when the mouse is moved over the area.

Deleting a Rubric

In the side-panel menu, scroll down to Course Rubrics.  To delete a no longer needed rubric, click the 3 dots to the right of the name > Delete:

Creating a Duplicate of a Rubric

If it is desired to create a duplicate of an existing rubric to provide a starting point for creating a new rubric, click the 3 dots to the right of the name > Duplicate:

In the next menu, update the name to reflect the new rubric's title > adjust categories, criteria, and point values as needed > Save.  Attach the newly created rubric to the appropriate graded activity in the course.
