NOTE: This article assumes you already have the appropriate access granted in both SAP and Perceptive Content. - Open the Perceptive Content client and log in
- Click Settings > Options > Toolbar
- Click the Defaults tab
- Change the default Applications action to the appropriate Application Plan
NOTE: This setting will vary based on access to App Plans and the specific SAP screen needed. In the example below, ADM SAP is used to pull student records from the PIQST00 or Student File SAP screen. You should choose the App Plan that you use for your specific business process.
- Click OK
- Right-click on the Perceptive Content icon in the system tray and select Options
- Change On mouse value to Applications default
- Log into SAP and click the Customize Local Layout button on the toolbar
- Select Options
- Select the Accessibility & Scripting folder from the left-hand navigation pane
- Select Scripting
- Uncheck the two options under Enable Scripting, ensuring Enable Scripting is still checked
- Select the Interaction Design folder in the left-hand navigation pane
- Select Visualization 2
- Ensure Show system name in taskbar button is unchecked
Once these configurations have been completed, when working with a student record in SAP GUI, clicking on the Perceptive Content system tray icon will open that student's record.
