Overview
Your instructors may choose to utilize rubrics to assign grades in your course. When reviewing your grades, you have the option to review what specific scores you have been assigned within the rubric in addition to category-specific feedback.
Guide
1. Enter your course and select the “Gradebook” option from the upper menu.
2. You will see a list of graded activities. Locate and click on your activity of choice.
Note: If your activity has an assigned rubric, a small grid icon will be displayed next to the grade. See the image above for an example of how this will appear.
3. If you have clicked on an assignment or test, you will see a menu on the right side of your page displaying an overview of the assignment in addition to your score. Select “View Submission” to continue.
Note: This menu does not appear for discussions or journals.
4. On the left side of the page, you will see your submitted work. On the right side, you will see the rubric used to grade your activity. The earned score for each criterion will be displayed in addition to feedback specific to said criterion. As shown in the image above, the criterion feedback ("Good Work!") is displayed under the description. You may need to vertically scroll to review your scores for each area.
Note: The “Criterion Feedback” text will be absent from areas where to the instructor has not left feedback.
As a side note, feedback on your overall submission (labeled "Attempt Feedback") will display above the rubric feedback.
