Nudge is a tool that notifies you when it’s time to update your macOS device; to help your computer remain safe, secure, and compliant with CMU’s Workstation Secure Configurations Policy. Simply follow the prompts in the pop-up window to complete the macOS update or upgrade. You may defer this update for one hour or one day (24-hours), after that the pop-up will be persistent. It is in your best interest to make sure your Mac is kept up-to-date with Apple’s macOS updates. Once the required installation date has passed, Nudge will no longer allow deferrals.
