Submissions Receipts (Student View)

This guide pertains to Ultra Course View.

Explanation

Upon completing an assignment or assessment, Blackboard Ultra displays a window confirming that your submitted work was successfully turned in. You are given the option to download a txt file containing the same message. Additionally, Ultra sends an email to your CMU Microsoft Outlook account with a similar message.

The receipt contains the following information:

  • Course Name and ID Number
  • Graded item name
  • Date completed
  • Student campus ID
  • Confirmation Number

It is important to keep track of these receipts as they can be used to prove that you have completed your work in the case of an error.

Ultra Receipt

This message is displayed to a user upon completing an assignment.

Email Receipt

This message will always be sent to your CMU Outlook email address. Selecting the "View Submission" option redirects the user to the Blackboard course where the item was turned in.

Downloaded Receipt

If the user decides to select the "Download" option displayed in the Blackboard receipt, they will download a .txt file containing the information above.
