Assessment results allows you to control how students see feedback, scores, and answers once they submit their test. Once a test has been created and questions added to it, automated feedback, scores, and answer availability conditions can be applied to share test details with students. From within a Test, click on the Settings gear icon to open the Test Settings Panel.
When all Feedback options turned off:
Students are presented with this screen upon completion of the test:
Submission View
Allow students to view their submission: This setting preserves the academic integrity of the test questions. When switched off, students can only see the test questions when they are taking the test. If checked, Submission View determines when students are provided with feedback on the assessment and what students are shown. Clearing this checkbox means the additional feedback options presented are also not available.
Determine When Students Can View Their Submission:
- After Submission - shows the student's submission once that student completes the assessment.
- After Individual Grade is Posted - shows the student's submission to the student after their grade has been posted to the Gradebook.
- After Due Date - shows the student's submission to the student after the defined due date.
- After All Grades Are Posted - shows the student's submission to the student after all student scores have been posted to the Gradebook.
- On Specific Date - shows the student's submission to the student after the defined date and time.

Correct Answers
Allow students to see the correct answers to automatically scored questions Correct answers can only be displayed at the same time as or after Question Scores. In the test settings panel, the Correct answers option is not turned on by default . When you want students to review the answers with the assessment content, within the test settings panel, select Show Correct Answers. Show question scores will be selected automatically since this setting is required when you opt to show correct answers. To show only the score per question but not the correct score, clear the check box for Show correct answers. When Showing the Correct Answers, students also can receive feedback on answers they got wrong if Incorrect Feedback has been entered in for the question.
For questions that are not automatically scored by Blackboard (e.g. Essay Questions), 'examples of correct response' are available to students after grading has been completed by the instructor and can be accessed by the student be reopening the test and viewing assessment results.
After students complete an assessment and return to review it, a banner appears at the top of the assessment. They're informed that their instructor will reveal the correct answers after all students have submitted. Any feedback you've provided won't appear until grades are posted.
