Course Tasks and Logs Overview
Course Tasks and Logs records past Course Copy and Course Export information. It can be accessed from the 3-dots menu in the upper right-hand corner the Course Content page.
Once in the Course Tasks and Logs area you can view Tasks or Logs.
Tasks
Tasks allow you to see historical information on Course Copy and content Imports and Exports completed in the course. Click View Report to see any errors that may have occurred with the process completed. If desired, Tasks results can be filtered by either Type or Status.
Logs
Logs allow you to download the log file and view details of the copy or import.
Example of Detailed Download Log File
Log files can be downloaded by clicking the 3-dot menu to the right of each log record. A brief summary of the log file can be downloaded via Download Log or a more detailed version can be obtained using Download Detailed Log. Below is an example of the Detailed Log option. here you can see where course content was copied from (aka Source Course), where it was copied to (Target Course) and who completed the copy (jacks1jl)
