Transact: Users

A User is a person using the Transaction System and/or Reporting System software. To Add or Update a User, go to TS Home > User > User > from BbTSMain. When you click Add, the User Detail screen appears.

Users are controlled by the Card Office and changes to users should be requested through the help desk or online form.

User Information

  • User Name – will be automatically set to the GlobalID of the user.
  • Full Name – 50 character limit (Optional)
  • Description – 30 character limit (Optional).
  • Email Address – 50 character limit (Optional).

Features

  • Enter Active Start and Active End Dates on account access if desired.
  • Check Administrator to allow the User to administer Users and User Groups for the Merchants that the user has been assigned.
  • Click Unlock to reinstate the user account access. The user account can be locked if it has not been used within the number of days specified in the System Rules settings.

User Groups

User Groups establish privilege access in the Transaction and Reporting Systems. Administrators grant privilege access to the fields necessary for the User. Users must have a User Group assigned to access any fields in the system. User Group permissions are used to access reports, products, doors, and events owned by the Merchant.
