Perceptive Content: Editing Document Custom Properties During Capture

  1. Find the document that you are scanning or printing into ImageNow. In this case, the print option will be used, the process would be the same for scanning. Shown below the document is being printed into ImageNow

 
  1. Select ImageNow Printer-Single Mod, then click OK

 
  1. Fill out the appropriate information for your document and click Capture

 
  1. In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, there will be custom properties that you can fill out (use the blank box next to the name of the value). They may contain but are not limited to true / false statements, increments of money, numerical values, lists and users
    1. For this particular document, there is a currency value, a true / false statement and a box that will hold numerical values
       
  2. Once you fill out the custom values and double-check the information under application plan is correct, click the Save icon

 
  1. To go back and edit the custom properties, simply click on Documents on the ImageNow toolbar

 
  1. Find your application plan

 
  1. Find your document and open it (double click)

 
  1. Click on the box with the custom properties on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen and edit them

NOTE: Be sure you click the Save button before exiting, otherwise the changes will not be saved.
