Configuring Transact eAccounts Mobile App

The Transact eAccounts app makes it easy for you to view account balances, add money, and track your recent transactions. In the future you will be able to use your phone to access places such as your dorm, events, and dining halls.

 

Requirements:

  • Android or iPhone.
  • Wifi or cellular data plan for Internet access.

Configuring the Transact eAccounts app for Android and Apple devices

  1. Install the Transact eAccounts app from either the Google Play or Apple App Store.

 

2. Open the Transact eAccounts app.

3. Swipe right three times, then press Get Started.

4. Scroll down and select Central Michigan University.

5. Select Cmich SAML2 Azure.

6. Type in your CMU email address and select Next.

7. Enter your CMU Global ID and password, then select Login.

If you are completing this tutorial from off-campus, you will need to confirm your identity via Duo multi-factor authentication.

8. Enter your CMU email address and password and then click Sign In. If you wish to stay signed in, check the Don't show this again box and click Yes.

Congratulations, your eAccount app is configured! You may now continue to Android: Adding your Campus ID to eAccounts or Apple: Adding your Campus ID to eAccounts.

 


Android: Adding your Campus ID to eAccounts

This process requires you to have the GPay app configured on your device.

1. Login to the eAccount app.

2. Select Add to Gpay.

3. Select Accept.

4. Select Accept & Continue.

The app will search for and automatically install your ID on your phone.

5. Select Got it.

6. Select Done.

Your card is now in eAccounts and mobile credentials have been configured.. Select the X in the upper left and you will be returned to the main menu.

 


Apple: Adding your Campus ID to eAccounts

This process requires you to have Apple Wallet configured on your device.

1. Login to the eAccount app.

2. Select Add to Apple Wallet.

3. Skip to the next step if you do not have an Apple Watch synced to your iPhone

Select the device to which you want to add your card.

4. Select Next. .

5. Select Agree.

6. Select Done.

Your card is now in eAccounts and mobile credentials have been configured.
