Includes 1-camera or screen capture shoot, editing, and 1 master:
- 1 hour, on-location shoot: $100
- (Pricing reflects $50/hr: 1 hr shoot, 1 hr edit, media costs)
- 2 hour, on-location shoot: $150
- (Pricing reflects $50/hr: 2 hr shoot, 1 hr edit, media costs)
- Additional copies extra
Tier Three: Non-CMU/Grant Funded Presentation or Lecture
Includes 1-camera or screen capture shoot, editing, and 1 master:
- 1-hour, on-location shoot: $200 plus travel expenses
- (Pricing reflects $100/hr: 2 hr shoot, 2 hr edit, media costs)
- 2-hour on-location shoot: $300 plus travel expenses
- (Pricing reflects $100/hr: 2 hr shoot, 2 hr edit, media costs)
- Additional copies extra
Media Conversion Services
CIS can convert select legacy media formats for streaming delivery, including VHS, DVCAM, MiniDV, and audio cassettes.
All media is digitized and published to the Chipcast (Panopto) platform. Once processing is complete, a streaming link will be provided to the requester.
Pricing
- Credit-bearing courses: No charge
- Non-curricular projects: $50 per hour of processing
Time Estimates
Processing estimates are based on a 2:1 ratio. In general, each hour of source media requires approximately 2 hours of processing, which includes:
- Approximately 1 hour for media digitization (real-time capture)
- Approximately 1 hour for project setup, quality review, publishing, and delivery
