CMU Traditional BSN Application

Each section in the nursing school application must be completed thoroughly before submission. Once you have reviewed all the sections and are confident that everything is accurate, hit the submit button to finalize your application. The application can only be submitted once, so be sure all sections have been completed before you submit. Note: the application will not save your progress. It is important to ensure that every field is filled out to avoid any delays in the process. Before you start your application, check the Traditional BSN admission criteria to assure you have met all the requirements to apply to the nursing program. To complete the online application:

• Review the admission requirements, specifics required for the application, and the deadline for the submission of the application.
• Gather and prepare any documents that you may need to complete the application.
• Review each section in the application to help assure you are prepared to successfully complete each one.
• After you have completed each section, review your application to help assure you have provided all of the information required and without errors.
• When ready, follow the prompt to submit your application.
 
For Fall 2026, applications must be submitted by midnight March 31st.

Any application submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

The following CMU courses in General Education and Science must be completed before your application can be reviewed for admission. You may either have completed the courses in each section or may be currently enrolled in one or more of the CMU courses. If so, please indicate accordingly. You may have completed or are currently enrolled in an equivalent or alternative course at CMU or another postsecondary institution. If so, indicate that accordingly and proceed to complete the questions to follow that includes providing the course number and course name.

The reflective essay can only be accepted in the designated space; no attachments are allowed. The space between words is not included in the total word count. You can use our Writing Center for assistance in writing your essay. The focus is on your personal reflection and writing; you should avoid the use of language learning models and artificial intelligence in writing.
