Body

Mistakes can happen, but Perceptive Content makes it easy to fix those mistakes.
NOTE*** This document assumes you have VIEW- "Actions" and "Properties" selected for Document View

The easiest way: (For users with "Update" permissions.)
Find the document in a View or Filter, right-click directly on the "field" (index value) you want to change, which will give you a pop-up menu that includes "Edit Document Keys".
Select Edit Document Keys and change it to the correct value.
Then confirm the edit.

Also Easy: (For users with "Update" permissions.)
Open the document, then type directly on the "field" (index value) you want to change.
Click the save button.
Then confirm the edit if asked

Lastly, For users who auto-index using SAP:
If you are using SAP to Index the document and want to make sure that ALL the fields are correct.
Open the document > open the correct SAP screen > confirm that the information on that screen is the correct information > then click "Edit this document's properties"  on the left under Actions. That will pull the information from SAP into the fields that auto-fill.
NOTE*** you will need to manually select any fields that do not autofill and may need to reselect the correct Doc-Type.
It will ask you to confirm those edits
