When attempting to open a PDF document in Perceptive Content Client, the following error appears:
Navigation to the webpage was canceled

Resolution
This error occurs when the Adobe Reader add-on has not been correctly configured to open PDF documents within a browser.
To resolve this issue, change the browser settings as follows:

Within Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, click Preferences from the Edit menu.

In the left pane, click Internet.

Select the Display PDF in browser check box if not already selected. This setting allows PDFs to be viewed in Perceptive Content Client.
Note: If the Display PDF in browser checkbox is not an option, click the How to set up your browser to use Adobe products to view PDF documents link, and then follow the instructions to enable the Adobe PDF Reader add-on to open PDFs in the browser.

Clear the following check boxes:

In the left pane, click Security (Enhanced).

In the Sandbox Protections section, click Off for Protected View.

In the Enhanced Security section, clear the Enable Enhanced Security check box.

Click OK.

Close Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, and then close Perceptive Content Client.
When Perceptive Content Client is reopened, the PDF should load successfully.
If the issue persists, the installation of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat may need to be repaired. Do the following:
- Within Windows Control Panel, click Programs and Features.
- Click Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat, and then click Change.
- Follow the steps provided to repair the installation.
- Restart the computer.
