Creating a Panopto Assignment
The instructor will create a standard assignment. There is no special configuration for a Panopto Assignment. The special connection with Panopto will occur when the student makes the submission
A stand assignment is shown below.
Student submission
The student will navigate to and access the assignment as normal
The student will click on the assignment and start the attempt
The student must click in the submission box to view the text editor
Click on the small plus sign in the circle
Select Content market
The student will select the Panopto Student Submission.
The student can choose to select a previously recorded video, upload a video or record a video.
The record option is shown below.
Launch Capture to record from the web browser
Recording starts after a five second count down
Record your video
Click the square button to stop the recording.
Wait for the processing to finish
Once the video is displayed click Insert
Verify the recording name and click Insert again
Then click Submit
Click Submit again to verify and finalize the submission:
Click Download to receive a submission receipt.
