Printing a Downloaded Bb Annotate PDF Including Comments in Adobe Acrobat

This article will assist instructors printing a downloaded Bb Annotate PDF including comments in Adobe Acrobat

Instructor's who have added comments via the Blackboard (Bb) Annotate Tool can download the annotated PDF from the Bb Annotate Tool bar and print the document from Adobe Acrobat including the comments using the instructions below.

 

In Blackboard go to the Gradebook and view the submission.  Using the Annotate Tool bar shown below download the PDF to your local computer.

Open the downloaded PDF in Adobe Acrobat and follow the steps below:

1. In Adobe Preferences select "Commenting"
2. Check the box for "Print notes and pop-ups"
3. Uncheck the box "Hide comment pop-ups when Comments List is open"
4. click OK

 

 

5. Click on the printer icon (select printer)
6. Click on "Summarize Comments", click yes on "include text of summarized comments" pop-up
7. Click Print

 

The comments will be printed at the end of the document with comment reference numbers.
