Perceptive Content: Experience - How To Add a Page To A Current Document

Summary

Add a page or pages to a document using the new web client in Perceptive Content known as Experience

Body

With the upgrade to EP2 in late December of 2020, the new Web-Version of Perceptive Content, known as Experience, allows end-users with proper security to add pages to an existing document quickly and easily.

  1. Log into Experience

  2. Open a document from the Perceptive Experience Viewer

  3. Select the page that you want to insert a new page in front of or behind
    • I chose page one of a two-page document

  1. Select / click the Add Page icon (looks like a plus sign)

  1. Select where you want to add the page Before, After, or Replace the current page. That is NOT recommended

NOTE: Deleted pages, unlike deleted documents, CAN NOT be recovered from the recycle bin. Removing a page is permanent.

  1. Select File for where the page is coming from

NOTE: Scanner will NOT work.

  1. Select Browse to find the document you want to insert as a page

  1. Select the document(s) to be inserted
    • In this example, I purposely decided to insert a .PDF document as a page

  1. After the document(s) is selected, the Select Files pop-up will let you know it (they) has been selected

  2. Click Done to insert the page

You can now view the original document with the new (document) page inserted.

In this example, I have added a .PDF file as page two (2) of a three (3) page document.

We would prefer .TIFF, .JPG, or even .PNG files but it will upload many file types.

NOTE:

  • The scanner option will not work because we have not paid for that option or installed it yet
  • If you try the scanner option you will see this error message
