Setting a Default Action

It is possible to change what the default action is when you click a toolbar button. For example, if you only deal with Linking Batches, you can set it so that pressing the Batches button automatically brings you to the Ready to Link view.

  1. Click the arrow next to the button you wish to change the default action on
  2. Right Click the option and select Set as Default Action

Content Explorer

The Perceptive Content Explorer windows display document and folder information in grids. A grid, in turn, displays a list of documents filtered based on the type of grid you select. In Explorer, depending on your security privileges, you can view all of the ImageNow grids, including application plans, batches, documents, folders, tasks, and workflow queues. Each row in the grid represents a document that resides in ImageNow or is in an intermediate status such as QA or Linking. You can view the document or perform actions on it by double-clicking its row.

  1. Left Pane: The Views Pane - here you can switch between the different types of grids, identical to the buttons in the Perceptive Content Toolbar
  2. Right Pane: This pane will list the documents and folders related to the selection in the view pane
