Blackboard (Student): Mobile Device App

Body

NOTE: The Office of Information and Technology does not officially support the Blackboard Mobile App, but we will provide as much assistance as we can. Because Blackboard Mobile is a third-party tool, we do not have the same level of administrative access that we have to many CMU systems.

If you receive a Stale Login Request error when attempting to login through the mobile app please follow the steps within the workaround article: https://cmich.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/664/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=36388

Blackboard's latest mobile application enables student access to Blackboard courses and course content on a compatible mobile device. With the Blackboard app, users can quickly view updates to courses and content, view and complete assignments and tests. The free app is available for iOS, Android, and Windows mobile devices and requires a device running:

  • iOS 9.0+
  • Android 4.2+
  • Windows 10+

Important Information Regarding Tests: While you may be able to use the Blackboard App to take tests, it is strongly discouraged. When taking tests, a computer and a reliable network connection is recommended. Refer to this Online Exam Tips for Students article for more information: https://cmich.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/664/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=19553
